Dr. Michael Veerman is a board certified chiropractor who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Movement Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Veerman has experience with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, functional rehabilitation, and nutritional counseling. He also has completed additional training in Acupuncture, Orthopedics, Nutrition and the McKenzie technique, and continues to enhance his knowledge through continuing education classes. Dr. Beau Horner is an Illinois, Nevada and Colorado licensed chiropractor who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University. While studying at ASU, Dr. Beau was an avid runner and cyclist. Dr. Beau earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in California. After becoming licensed he acquired 2 years post-graduate training at a Chiropractic Biophysics clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Gretchen Martinez is an Illinois licensed chiropractor who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico prior to earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Martinez has also completed additional training in Acupuncture, functional rehabilitation and Kinesiotaping techniques, and she plans to keep expanding her knowledge through different continuing education classes.
Dr. Ariana Brosco is a board certified chiropractor who earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Miami. She then attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Brosco has a passion for helping people in a non-invasive and drug free manner. Her focus is to find the root of the problem and treat it, not simply mask the symptoms. She has a love for children and a focus on family practice. Dr. Brosco specializes in pre and post natal care and strives to make both the pregnancy and delivery as pain free and stress free as possible.
Dr. Smitherman is a Chiropractic Physician who specializes in Functional Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine. He received his Chiropractic Doctorate and Master’s degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Then he continued on into a second doctorate program for Naturopathic Medicine at National University of Health Sciences.

Combined with the extensive knowledge from his Naturopathic Medicine training, doctor Smitherman is able to take a unique, whole person approach to each patient. Dr. John Culp is an Illinois licensed chiropractor who earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He earned his bachelor degree in accounting from the Herberger School of Business at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. He blends chiropractic care, naturopathic philosophy, and the balance seeking oriental medicine approach to uniquely treat each patient and situation with sensitivity and perspective. He uses functional tests, therapeutic exercises, diversified techniques, and multiple modalities to naturally help patients on their path towards wellness; his number one priority.

Dr. Emery Pitcel is an Illinois licensed chiropractor who earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Dr. Emery competed in cross-country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field for Grand Valley. He then obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Emery has completed additional training in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and he plans to expand his training in functional rehabilitation and nutrition.
Nicole is a licensed massage therapist recently graduated in August 2015 from The Soma Institute, a clinically based massage therapy program. She graduated with high honors, and was awarded the President’s Honors Award. The school exposes its students to many different treatments to help improve the welling-being of the client and understand the anatomy of the body.
Matthew has been a licensed massage therapist since 2010. He attended the Soma Institute’s clinical massage program, where he graduated at the top of his class. His education heavily focused on injury treatment and gaining knowledge of the body’s anatomy.
Matthew uses a combination of techniques drawn from Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching, to name a few. He came to MVP with many high recommendations.
Since being at MVP Chiropractic, Matthew has earned multiple well deserved 5 star reviews. He is punctual and professional while always trying to inspire people to be more healthy. He recently added hot stone massage to his services which is a warming mix of relaxation and theurapuetic techniques to release musculoskeletal adhesions.
Born in Chicago, Sarah Horn loves this city. She loves experiencing what the city has to offer; beaches, museums, nightlife, an excellent variety of delicious food, and most important, a great Massage Therapy Program. Sarah attended Cortiva-The Chicago School of Massage Therapy in the Loop from October 2006-October 2007. Sarah’s education helped teach herself the technical skills she needed to start her career in massage therapy. Upon graduation, Sarah studied to prepare and take the test to become a Nationally Certified massage therapist in Late 2007. She passed her certification and started working immediately.
Andy is a passionate massage therapist that specializes in therapeutic and relaxation massage. He uses a variety of techniques and skills to personalize each massage session. He works with our chiropractors to develop a specific plan to make sure that patients recover as quickly as possible. He makes sure to create a comfortable environment and modifies therapies to patient requests on pressure and positioning. Andrew enjoys supporting TPAN, Chicago House and the AIDS Foundation in creating awareness for their causes. Andrew strives to keep educating himself on the latest therapies while keeping involved in the local community.
